Although chatbots can are very straight forward concept, Airbnb had a lot of prerequisites for final designs. One of the most important aspects was creating a human chatbot that looked gender neutral but still conveyed its functional role. This project took about 3 months with extensive A/B testing and explorations.
My role on the project was:
•Construct flow wireframes based on what is current in product and update with new components in the new visual system
•Devise new components that are needed for the new flow and deliver to our engineering partners
•Produce multiple mock-ups that show contextual settings
•Create new iconography based on the project’s parameters
